Understanding the Catholic Faith
The catholic faith mainly revolves on one belief and that is their faith about the existence of one, eternal God who coexists with a mutual co-relationship of three entities: God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit. The catholic faith also teaches seven holy sacraments that should be observed carefully by the faithful and make it part of their lives until death. The holy sacraments in the catholic faith are Baptism, Confirmation, the Eucharist or the Holy Mass, the act of Reconciliation or Penance, Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders, and the Holy Matrimony. Sacraments are vital to catholic faith since they are the manifestation of holy rituals and considered as the representation of God's presence here on earth. Catholics believe that following religiously these holy sacraments it is possible to create an ideal avenue in which to channel God's grace to faithful who receive them with the proper ceremony. In Catholic faith, the Church is seen as the long-lasting manifestation of Jesus on earth. The Church is referred to as the people of God who continue to abide the teachings of Jesus while He was here on earth.
Catholic faith in general is a vast and complex subject to understand but there are certain things in life that cannot be explained by words and illustrations. You only have to believe to be able to fathom the depths of catholic faith.
